An Elephant Never Forgets by Owen Duggan is the recent recipient of a Gold award in the 2006 children's resources (infant/toddler) division of National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA). Previous NAPPA winners include Raffi, Laurie Berkner, Fred Penner, Tom Chapin, They Might Be Giants, Ella Jenkins, Greg & Steve, Justin Roberts and Sara Hickman. The jury for the award was directed by Lawrence J. Cohen, Ph.D., Boston Globe columnist and author of Playful Parenting.
